Golf Membership Administrator
Golf Services Management is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Golf Membership Administrator to join the team at their Head Office.
We’re on the lookout for an individual with an existing knowledge of golf that is enthusiastic, organised and interested in pursuing a career in golf. The role will see this individual be the primary contact and administrator for the GSM Golf Club, whilst also liaising with social groups, venue staff, the Operations Manager and Director. This will include but not limited to membership administration, handicapping, scorecards, golf bookings, events and various other tasks as required.
• An understanding of membership of a golf or sporting club
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• An understanding of Golf competitions and the basic rules of golf
• Some experience with MiClub Golf Software would be beneficial
• Meticulous attention to detail and the willingness to learn new processes
The role will be performed generally in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. Flexibility in availability to be involved in the running of some our events is required with some weekend work expected.
The role is expected to be part time at 22 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday Friday preferred ) at AER level 2 or 3. In addition, if requested, golf shop hours at one if the venues could be available to take to a full time position.
For a suitable candidate, there may be the ability to develop a cadetship with a mapped course of TAFE qualifications, Sports Management, Business Management, Retail Management, etc.
